The printer is a normal all-in-one printer weighing in at 10.4lbs. it is rather compact at 10.2 x 6.7 x 16.8 in but performs rather well for its little size compared to the old printers that all are pretty much used to. This HP OfficeJet 1315 All-in-One printer would be a great addition to any home office or student that needs minimum pages per month 1000 pages printed. HP has come through in the printer genre with flying colors.The HP OfficeJet 1315 All-in-One can print in color and black at up to 600x600 rendered dpi black (when printing from a computer), up to 4800 x 1200 optimized dpi color (when printing from a computer and 1200 input dpi). Dpi means Dots Per Inch; this refers to the quality of imagery or words that appear on the page. The variance on ppm (pages per minute) between a high quality page and normal does vary for this HP OfficeJet 1315 All-in-One printer. This printer operates at 17ppm for black and 12ppm for color. This HP OfficeJet 1315 All-in-One printer has 100-sheet input tray, 20-sheet automated 4-x 6-in photo tray, 50-sheet Automatic Document Feeder (ADF). The HP OfficeJet 1315 All-in-One printer is able to use many forms of printing stock. For a personal printer or network printer, this price is relatively cheap for the quality, however it is important to know that if any printer is used out of its scope or design, it will not be as effective as one would expect.
