HP 4v
The Hewlett-Packard printer HP Laserjet 4v/mv is a color laser jet printer with many exciting functions. The printer is a not the normal desktop printer, it is quite compact with a size of 18 x 21 inches. It does however, perform rather well for its little size in comparison to the old printers that we all are pretty much used to. This HP Laserjet 4v/mv printer would be a great addition to any small office that needs a moderate amount of pages printed per month, say 50,000 or so. It appears that HP has come through in the printer genre with flying colors.
The HP Laserjet 4v/mv can print in color and black at 600x600 dpi. Dpi means Dots Per Inch; this refers to the quality of imagery or words that appear on the page. The variance on ppm (pages per minute) between a high quality page and normal doesn’t vary for this HP Laserjet 4v/mv printer. The standard for this printer is 16ppm for a black print job. This HP Laserjet 4v/mv printer has a standard 1 tray input. The HP Laserjet 4v/mv printer can hold 350 pages for print with a max storage of 850, and is able to use many forms of printing stock. Some media input types Paper (plain, letterhead, pre-punched, bond, color, rough, preprinted, recycled), labels, envelopes, and cardstock.
The HP LaserJet 4v/mv printer appears that it was mainly designed for network printing. This means that this printer is capable of being used on cat5 network with the optional HP Jet direct internal print server. However, for wireless networks, extra equipment will most likely be needed. For a network printer, this price is relatively cheap for the quality, however it is important to know that if any printer is used out of its scope or design, it will not be as effective as one would expect. So just remember that each printer has its optimal functions and specifications, and it is best to use it for those purposes. The HP LaserJet 4v/mv will not let any small sized office or work space down by any means.
