The Hewlett-Packard printer HP Photosmart D7360 is a color DeskJet printer with many functions. The functions are Color printing, color copying, color scanning, color faxing, black-and-white printing, black-and-white copying, black-and-white scanning, and black-and-white faxing. The printer is a normal printer weighing in at 17.6lbs. However, it is rather compact at 18.2 x 19.7 x 9.3 in but performs rather well for its little size compared to the old printers that all are pretty much used to. This HP Photosmart D7360 printer would be a great addition to any home office or student that needs minimum pages per month 3000 pages printed. HP has come through in the printer genre with flying colors.
The HP Photosmart D7360 can print in color and black at up to 1200 rendered dpi black (when printing from a computer), up to 4800 x 1200 optimized dpi color (when printing from a computer and 1200 input dpi). Dpi means Dots Per Inch; this refers to the quality of imagery or words that appear on the page. The variance on ppm (pages per minute) between a high quality page and normal does vary for this HP Photosmart D7360 printer. This unit operates at 32ppm for black and 31ppm for color. This HP Photosmart D7360 printer has 2 100-sheet input trays plus one single sheet special media tray. The HP Photosmart D7360 printer is able to use many forms of printing stock. The HP Photosmart D7360 printer is not designed for network printing which means that this printer is not capable being used as a network and personal printer with the ability to connect to PictBridge or USB plus the 4 memory card slots that can do wonders to color or photo printing. For a personal printer or network printer, this price is relatively cheap for the quality, however it is important to know that if any printer is used out of its scope or design, it will not be as effective as one would expect. So just remember that each printer has its function and to use it within that function. The HP Photosmart D7360 will not let any home office or student or novice photographer down by any means.
